Provision of planned maintenance for new offices and amenities at the British High Commission, Abuja, Nigeria

The design and construction of 6000m² of concrete frame deep footprint open plan offices generally of four storey construction incorporating mechanical ventilation
and VRF cooling. Associated accommodation includes a fully fitted out medical clinic, mechanics workshops and external works. the contractor will be required to adopt the detailed design at RIBA stage D, to complete the detailed design and be responsible for handing over the completed project to a defined completion date 18 months after commencement on site.

Damages will apply for late completion. Detailed design and construction are to be carried out to a high standard equivalent to those found on European Headquarter projects. The contractor will be required to submit details of the design to the employers team for comment prior to commencement of construction. All works to be carried out under one contract which will be based on GC Works 1 Single Stage with contractors design, all project documentation will be in English.
