Architects wanted to revamp Buxton landmark

  • Comment

Architects are sought by Buro Four Project Services for the refurbishment and overhaul of the 1780s Buxton Crescent Hotel and Thermal Spa

The £35 million redevelopment includes a 79 bedroom hotel, the redevelopment of a former pump room into café, eight new shops and the revamp of the thermal, natural mineral water spa.

Due to begin in late February and complete October 2016, the project has a £600,000 contract value.

To be considered teams must have experience working with Grade I-listed buildings and ‘luxury hotel’ design while working as part of multidisciplinary teams.

PQQs documents are available on request from gjames@burofour.com with completed responses due 13 January 2014.
