Choice Housing is seeking architects for a raft of affordable and social housing schemes in Northern Ireland

The province’s largest housing association has issued two separate contract notices for the projects which are together worth around £1.5 million in design fees.

The first contract features two lots covering affordable housing projects at Glengormley Park in Newtownabbey and at 2-28 Shore Road in Belfast.

The second contract features three lots covering social housing schemes at Killynure in Carryduff and at Kilwee and Belvedere – both in Dunmurry.

Last year the organisation announced ambitious £340 million plans to deliver 2,500 new homes before the end of the decade.

Choice Housing currently owns around 10,000 homes with assets worth approximately £700 million.

For each contract the winning design teams will deliver planning, design, procurement, construction and project management services.

A lead architect, mechanical and electrical engineer, civil and structural engineer, quantity surveyor and CDM coordinator will all be required.

The deadline for applications is 12noon on 25 May.
