The Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board is on the hunt for an architect for a new school in Tuam

The project will create a new school on the site of Archbishop McHale College within the historic Irish town (pictured).

The winning team will deliver a masterplan for the entire project and complete detailed designs for the scheme’s first phase.

The 1,032m² first phase will include five classrooms, a science lab, an home economics area, toilets and a special educational needs suite.

Participating teams must include an architect, quantity surveyor, civil engineer, structural engineer and building services engineer.

The deadline for applications is 14 November.
