Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council is on the hunt for an architect for the mixed-use redevelopment of its leisure centre on Trinity Lane
The winning team will draw up plans for a ‘landmark, high quality scheme’ on the prominent 1.4 hectare town centre plot featuring 66 residential units with a hotel, retirement living and offices.
A replacement £15.1 million leisure centre will open on a former council offices site in Argents Mead in the spring.
The current redbrick leisure centre – completed by Bath-based Design and Planning Associates in 1977 – will then close in May.
The deadline for applications is 30 November.
