Architect sought for Coventry Fire Station revamp

The West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority is on the hunt for an architect to demolish and rebuild Coventry Fire Station

The winning team will draw up plans for a new £6.7 million facility to provide a single hub for the city’s police, fire and ambulance services.

First opened in 1976, the existing red brick structureon Radford Road has been deemed no longer fit for purpose by the authority.

The chosen team will produce plans, elevations, 3D CGI images, and a design and access statement. A traffic statement, noise impact assessment and planning application will also be required.

The deadline for requests to participate is 4pm on 10 June.
