Conservation architect for Mariakirken church in Bergen, Norway

It is thought that Mariakirken was constructed in the 1100’s and it is the oldest preserved building in Bergen. The church is listed in accordance with the law on cultural memorials and it is situated on historical ground. Mariakirken will be closed for 5 years for comprehensive renovation work.

For this renovation we will need architect/consultancy services, both consultancy services and as responsible applicants in accordance with the national building codes.

The contract is for 2 years with a unilateral option for the awarding authority for an extension for 1+1+1 year or until the project is completed. The option will be taken up unless notice is given on the contract before it expires each year.
