Alder Hey children’s NHS Trust in Liverpool is seeking an architect to design a research development and education facility. The building is planned for the hospital’s new Springfield Park site which is expected to open in September 2015. Five practices will be shortlisted following PQQs with each receiving an honorarium to develop schemes [PQQs should be returned by 8 July]
Suffolk Mind and the Churches Conservation Trust are on the hunt for an architect to design a wellbeing heritage centre at Saint Mary’s church in Ipswich. PQQs are required for the 24 month contract which due to complete in 2015. Documents are available on request [PQQs are to be submitted by 4 July]
The Union of Polish Architects and the Polish Green Building Council have launched an international ideas competition focusing on Warsaw’s iconic Rotunda building. The contest seeks ‘innovative designs’ to transform the circular structure into a ‘sustainable face’ for Bank Polski. A £40,000 prize fund has been announced and the winning scheme is planned to be constructed subject to funding [Registration closes 15 July]
