Comment on: Top 10 comic book cities: #9 Tintin's Inca city
A great article and a good selection of comics. I would also point to Cerebus and his urban environment.
Just to be pedantic - you are mixing up Aztec and Inca influences and how Herge used them.
The Broken Ear & Tintin and the Picaros are set in San Theodoros, a fictional central american country with strong Aztec influences.
The Seven Crystal Balls & Prisoners of the Sun is set in the very real county of Peru and is based on Inca heritage.
The Red Sea Sharks is set in the Red Sea and the fictional Arabian country of Khemed.
