This Victorian semi-detached house had a blank gable wall facing the garden, its most pleasant view
A wide opening in the wall now leads to a new garden room. The junction between the roof and the wall has been blurred by wrapping the eaves with zinc and concealing the gutter, adding to the impression of the roof as a zinc hat floating on top of white rendered walls.
