Threefold completes terraced house refurb

  • Comment

Threefold has completed the refurbishment for this terraced house in Redchurch Street, East London

PLANS • PROJECT DATA • SPECIFICATION

The project, named Fissure House, sits within the conservation area and has retained the proportions of the original terrace.

Behind the building’s façade, Threefold has redesigned the internal layout to create what it describes as a ‘series of dramatic and luminous spaces for contemporary living’.

A feature staircase sits within a triple height void which cuts along the edge of the building, while each floor has been cut back to create views over the different living spaces.

At the back of the house new openings and external terraces have been added to open up the space and bring light in.
