New code of practice from Stone Federation

  • Comment

The Stone Federation Great Britain has released an updated code of practice for the design and installation of internal flooring.

The new code is based on the British standards that are relevant to natural stone flooring and incorporates the latest European standards.

Jane Buxey, chief executive of the Stone Federation said: ‘We receive more enquiries about stone flooring than any other speciality and we believe this new guide will be invaluable in answering many of the most important questions on the subject.’

The code details the key factors in natural stone flooring including stone selection, design, application, maintenance and underfloor heating.
