Home 2013

Early this year saw the successful debut of Home, a new homewares and interior design trade fair.

The event will be returning for a second outing in January 2013 and is set to be up to 45 per cent bigger, allowing more brands to be represented.

UK-based brands at the event will include Royal Doulton, Content by Conran, Nick Munro, CoachHouse, Make
International and Scarlet & Argent.

Designers Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway are also making their first appearance at a trade fair after 14 years off
the circuit with a pop-up stand called The Hemingway Home, where they will display the products they have created for John Lewis, Bliss Home, British Ceramic Tile and other design companies.

The organisers of the fair also wanted more kitchen and dining brands to be represented, so enlisted Pam Plant, the former president of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association, to help expand their presence at the show.

From the international market, tableware specialists such as Eva Solo and Royal VKB will appear alongside furniture from Skandium and textile products by Marimekko.

Home will run alongside Top Drawer, an event which centres on design-led gifts, lifestyle and fashion accessories, which will bring the number of exhibitors to more than 1,000. Visitors to the shows, which are open to trade delegates only, are expected to exceed 15,000 in number.
