Entries for Awards 1-9, 11 and 12 must relate to projects in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland which have been completed between January 2007 and September 2008. Entries for Award 10 (Inspiring Design: International) must relate to projects outside the UK completed between January 2007 and September 2008. You may submit one qualifying entry for several awards, however each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form and the appropriate fee. The awards are open to BCSE members and non-members alike.
We are asking for self nominations for Awards 1-10. There is a fee of £85 +VAT per entry.
For Award 11 (Best Client Team) we are asking for nominations from those who have worked with excellent School and Local Authority clients. No entry fee is required.
For Award 12 (Inspirational contribution by an Educational Professional in a School) we are asking for nominations to the judging panel. No entry fee is required. The Judges will also consider an Outstanding Contribution Award to mark an inspirational project, organisation or individual.
Evaluation Process and Judging Panel
An independent Evaluation Panel will carry out an initial sift of the entries against the selection criteria and will make long list recommendations to the independent Judging Panel who will agree a short list and Award winners. All short listed candidates will be notified by early April 2009. If the Panel feel it is necessary to visit shortlisted projects or speak to nominated individuals, they will do this during April 2009.

Evaluation Panel long listing : February 2009
Judging Panel meets : March 2009
Short listed candidates notified : Early April 2009
Judging Panel visits to shortlisted candidates, if required : April/May 2009
