Zaha Hadid's Home House designs
The AJ has been given a sneak peek behind the closed doors of the Home House private members club to catch a glimpse of the first interior scheme by Zaha Hadid in London for two decades.
The Pritzker-prize winning architect has designed a new metallic silver bar and furniture within the James Wyatt-designed Georgian townhouse in Marylebone.
Designed in collaboration with Patrik Shumacher, Hadid described the scheme as a serious of sculptural islands – ‘sinuous forms [that] follow the fluid geometries of natural systems and distortions.’
Made from fibre glass, resin and fabric the interior covers 158m².
