Week 2: Lots to do + construction flu

This week has been quite hard for me due to the long hours - I think the jetlag is finaly kicking in!!! we've all had quite a productive week and have been doin LOADS and learning alot in drawing and model making.

(The picture above is the GSD where we are studing with the view towards the garden compliments of Nick our group photographer.)

We've been having lectures almost everday. Some days this week we've had both drawing and learning lectures where we've had real life stories from architects getting to do some amazing things and them being able to present some of their visual documents and places they havee visited.
Its also brought up some interesting questionas this week where "What Is Architecture" but not in a dictonary sense as in 'what does it really involve' as we were finding so many parallels in architecture fine art and installations.

Its really interesting to see such a wealth of international people as well as Americans point out things, it really is a good mix of ages and we are all adding to the percentage of internatinal students this year. (YAY!)
Besides that were all getting "CONSTRUCTION FLU" - There are quite a bit of renovations going on here in the Harvard area where were based in the dorms, we are 'happily' awoken to not the sweet sounds of birds but the 'lovely' sounds of drills in the morning... so not ever1 is getting enough sleep!
