This Engineering Club film night will show the documentary by Sophie Fiennes which looks at the artwork of German artist Anselm Keifer. Keifer took over a derelict silk factory in the south of France and constructed a series of elaborate large scale installations, building a kind of parallel universe containing tunnels, mazes, bridges, towers, studios, columns, and an amphitheatre.

Where The Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh

Caroline Dear worked both as an architect and a landscape architect before leaving practice to concentrate on her artwork. Her work explores the natural world and how we relate to it. The pieces on display at the Malcolm Fraser-designed Storytelling Centre use traditional craftmanship and plants native to the Isle of Skye.
