Edge debate 54: a new professionalism

The debate led to the development of a special issue of the journal Building Research and Information on new professionalism. This debate with speakers Bill Bordass of the Usable Buildings Trust, Harry Rich from RIBA, and Will Hughes of the University of Reading, among others will examine the relationships between professionals, governments and markets.

James Timberlake: prototyping architecture

James Timberlake of Philadelphia-based KieranTimberlake Architects will give the keynote speech at the prototyping architecture conference. The practice which has been appointed for the new US Embassy at Nine Elms are well known for their hi-tech approach to sustainability.
