Distinctive feature: Focus on fundamental concepts of sustainable construction and energy use in buildings, exploring human interaction with buildings and how it impacts comfort and energy consumption. Skills are acquired in resolving multi-parametric design problems. The course is offered on a modular basis suitable for full-time students and for those already in employment either as a part-time MSc programme or simply as CPD to top up skills in a specific area. The University of Bath conducts leading research into the effects of climate change on the built environment.

Career opportunities: Graduates work in a wide range of leading architectural and engineering design practices.

Entry requirements:
- At least a 2.1 honours degree in a construction discipline required
- Applicants who do not have a 2.1 honours degree or who come from other disciplinary backgrounds will be considered for entry on an individual basis but must be able to show appropriate experience
