Distinctive feature: Addresses sustainable design at three different scales: urban design, whole buildings, and construction elements. Topics include sustainability in context, energy strategies, legislation, environmental assessment and rating tools. Multi-disciplinary nature of teaching on the programme.

Entry requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 UK honours degree (or international equivalent) in architecture, engineering, planning, environmental science or cognate science/engineering relative to the built environment
- International candidates required to demonstrate a good standard of English ie. an IELTS score of 6.5 or above. TOEFL scores (less preferred) are accepted with thresholds of 575 (paper-based) or 90 (internet-based) or an equivalent qualification
