Distinctive feature: Course focuses on technical, social, political and economic aspects of environmental and energy issues at both global and local levels. University of East London monitors programme content and awards degrees. Residential teaching takes place one week per month in CAT’s RIBA Award winning WISE building with the remainder of the programme via e-learning.
Director comment: This course provides the opportunity to develop new typologies, which offer a considered response to the environment while producing excellent design solutions.
Career opportunities: Due to its flexible mode of study many students continue to work whilst studying. Recent graduates have set up their own consultancy practices and are working as advisors for local councils and charities.
