The site is bounded by the A540 Parkgate Road, the Cheshire cycle way and the A5480 bypass.
The University of Chester intend to appoint a multi-disciplinary design team to provide all design related services on this development, including architecture, landscape design, structural engineering, civil engineering, building services engineering, accoustic engineering, fire engineering, facade engineering and access consultancy. The University wish to retain the option of retaining the direct appointment with the Building Services Engineers who may not be novated as part of the design team.
The fee basis will comprise of a fixed fee for the full project and agreed percentages of this fixed fee at identified stages. Whilst the University welcome consortia bids for these services, there must be one contracting party who will lead and co-ordinate all other members of the consortia.
Total quantity or scope:
To provide architectural, structural engineering, services engineering, access and acoustic consultancy design services. Description of these options: The design team may be novated to a contractor after RIBA Stage D.
