RIAI opens £5m primary school ideas contest

The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) has launched a single stage ideas contest to design a £5 million primary school

The 2,966m² structure must feature 16 classrooms, a special needs unit and be a ‘functional, stimulating and modern’ environment capable of reproduction across Ireland.

The winners will receive a £8,400 prize with other honorariums of £1,600 to be shared among those shortlisted.

Submissions must be made by 9 December through the organiser’s page. Documents can be downloaded following payment of the competition’s £104 entry fee.
