Stealth church comes to Qatar
How do you design a church without any of the obvious religious paraphernalia?
This was the dilemma facing architect Lorenzo Carmellini, who has designed the first Catholic church for the Gulf country of Qatar, the Rosarh Church in the capital, Doha.
'The idea is to be discreet because we don't want to inflame any sensitivities. There isn't even a signboard outside the church,' parish priest Father Tom Veneracion told The Times.
