Sto to Launch New Refurbishment Systems at Ecobuild 2013

Alongside its world-renowned premium EWI systems, Sto is exhibiting a range of solutions designed specifically for refurbishment projects with a particular focus on hard-to-treat social housing.

Sto offers a range sure to appeal to public sector housing authorities wanting to upgrade their housing stock and capitalise on ECO funding.  It provides an attractively priced solution backed by the technical expertise for which Sto is renowned.

All Sto EWIS options will easily provide the U-value of 0.3W/m²K required by Part L of the Building Regulations.  By increasing the volume of insulation material specified much lower values are possible.   The proven ability to deliver a U-value of 0.12W/m²K when fitted to solid wall structures is particularly attractive for the current focus on reducing the energy requirements for both new build and existing housing stock.

Sto has built its worldwide reputation on its premium render and EWI products and these continue to be the focus for architectural specification, with both render and rainscreen cladding systems used on iconic landmark buildings around the world.  The stand will include build ups of most ranges as well as an eye-catching display of the dramatic StoVentec glass facades that are now also available with built-in photovoltaic technology.
