SAS International’s System 330 metal ceiling, featuring plank tiles, was specified at the fit out of the Central Bank of Ireland’s Offices at Spencer Dock, in Dublin’s Financial Services centre.

SAS International worked closely with architects Henry J Lyons on this project. System 330 was specified because of its appearance, flexibility, quality of the ceiling system and its ability to align with the construction programme. The System 330 allowed the contractor to install the ceiling in two phases. The central channel was installed initially, providing a zone to allow partitions to be fixed in parallel with the above ceiling services installation, and this allowed the tiles to be installed closer to completion.

Supported from a C-Profile suspension grid, 1200mm x 300mm tiles were specified for the project to meet the building module size.

The ceiling systems were installed on all floors of the seven storey building. The result was a modern ceiling system offering smooth clean lines and a sophisticated yet practical finish.
