GKD - Cool aesthetics with a patchwork effect
Located in close vicinity to Miami’s airport, the Park Square at Doral is a unique complex consisting of offices, commercial spaces and housing, a traditional concept in European city centres which is yet new to Southern Florida.
Impressive entrée and eye-catcher of the newly-built park is the One Park Square service centre attracting visitors with its 11 storey tall metallic façade. 2500 sqm of a specially designed Omega mesh by GKD – Gebr. Kufferath AG were installed. Each mesh panel is woven with different densities, varying from bottom to top within each individual panel, thus creating a chequered patchwork effect on the façade.
