Specifiers looking to offer not only a practical acoustic solution but something that also adds a little extra to a space, can now take advantage of additions to two of Ecophon’s acoustic ceiling and wall panel ranges.
Part of leading international materials company Saint-Gobain, Ecophon has expanded its Texona acoustic wall panel and Solo™ acoustic ceiling raft ranges.
Paul Lake, managing director at Ecophon, comments: ‘Balancing the aesthetic look of a room with the practical need to create a positive sound environment is becoming more of an issue for architects and designers. Therefore, our Texona and Solo ranges have been designed to offer a solution that creates unique spaces while meeting necessary acoustic requirements whether in a classroom, office or hospital.’
Available in 16 colours that are each described as ‘flavours’, Texona acoustic wall panels offer an alternative solution where an acoustic ceiling is not practical or additional acoustic treatment is required. Including ‘seasalt’, ‘liquorice’ and ‘tangerine’ the new colours give a more decorative finish, offering more choice and flexibility.
In addition, Ecophon’s Solo acoustic ceiling rafts are now available in ten geometric shapes as part of the Solo Regular range. Options include triangles, ellipses and octagons which can create striking ceiling installations. However, the Solo Freedom range enables the design of bespoke shapes, providing a completely unique finish to any space. With a smooth, textured Akutex™ FT finish, both Solo ranges are available in light, powdery nuances and darker, accent colours.
