Specifiers looking to deliver stunning sound absorption without the limitations of external framing can now take advantage of an addition to Ecophon’s popular Solo™ acoustic ceiling raft range.
Part of leading international materials company Saint-Gobain, Ecophon has launched Solo Wall - elegant acoustic fixings that allow for direct to wall or layered three dimensional installations. Solo Wall offers greater flexibility for architects and interior designers looking to create visually stunning spaces with improved sound absorption.
The new addition will further strengthen Ecophon’s Solo range which also includes a huge variety of colour and geometric shape options. For a bespoke finish, the acoustic panels can also be digitally printed, allowing for even more freedom of expression.
Paul Lake, managing director at Ecophon, says: ‘The Solo range is hugely popular, because it provides a solution where a traditional suspended ceiling might not be viable. Our new ‘on the wall’ offering is particularly ideal for office environments where balancing the aesthetic look of a room with the practical need to create a positive sound environment is becoming more of a challenge for architects and designers.’
Ecophon’s Solo range encompasses a wide variety of different applications. Acoustic ceiling rafts are available in ten geometric shapes as part of the Solo Regular range while Solo Freedom enables the design of bespoke shapes, providing a completely unique finish to any space. Both use the smooth, textured Akutex™ FT finish and are available in light, powdery nuances and darker, accent colours. Integrated lighting options and baffles complete the range.
