Eleven operating theatres at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, have been equipped with Marshall-Tufflex’s new antimicrobial curved cable containment system, Odyssey Bio. Cat 6 compliant Odyssey Bio has been tested to ISO 22196:2007 and is proven to exhibit reductions in bacterial viable counts of more than 99.99%. The silver-ion based active ingredient is mixed into the PVC-U and continues to work if the plastic is scratched.
