Architects NPS North East, and M&E Consultants Silcock Leedham LLP specified innovative SAS System 600 acoustic rafts for the new Horbury High School in Wakefield. The rafts incorporated sound-absorbing pads, luminaires and radiant heating panels. The ceiling solution met stringent acoustic, lighting and energy efficiency requirements helping the school achieve a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating.
