Successful photomontages by Foundation CGI

A successful photomontage needs careful consideration from the start. Some frequently asked questions:

Is the photomontage forplanning and marketing?
Planning images should help the scheme blend in with the context while marketing images should make thescheme stand out and feeloptimistic.

Would the scheme benefit from an elevated photomontage?
Elevated photomontages help illustrate how a scheme works as a whole and the relationship to its context.

Are the proposed materials inspired by the local architecture?
Let us know the details so we can take a photographic record to re-create these materials in our 3D model.

Does your timetable take the weather forecast into account?
If your design isn’t ready for us to start modelling but the weather is currently suitable, it may prove prudent to capture the required views before the weather turns.

Are there any trees in the preferred viewpoints?
Leafless trees make a photomontage feel bleak and masking out fine branches may increase costs. To keep costs down and enhance the photomontage we prefer to cover bare branches with CG leaves.

Does the context have untidy areas?
Scruffy context, including vehicles and pedestrians, can be tidied up in Photoshop.
