Engaging the Public in the Planning System

Community Involvement is a key theme for government and town planners, who are grappling with the challenge of making the planning system more meaningful to the general public.

iCreate has developed their new iViewer system to publish 3D masterplans in an interactive format so that they are engaging and accessible to a wider audience.

The Wales-based 3D firm is now working with local authorities around the UK to translate complex strategy into effective visual applications. And the iViewer has recently been shortlisted for a top industry award in the upcoming 3D Awards ‘Best 3D Real-Time’ category - a compelling endorsement of the potential of interactive 3D presentation tools to change the way that architects, developers and planners communicate their proposals. iCreate’s nomination for this international award will stand the company in good stead when their
groundbreaking iViewer technology comes on show at the UK National Regeneration Summit in July.

To find out more, please contact Dawn Lyle, on telephone number 02920 004 675 or go to and click on the iViewer.
