Are you maximising your CSH credits?
Architects and Designers appreciate the benefits of natural daylight within buildings to our general health and well-being. Proving that their designs reflect this appreciation to an increasingly sophisticated planning authority audience is becoming a much more transparent but important requirement. All parties now have the Code for Sustainable Homes to guide them in a more objective and measurable way.
There are three credits available for meeting the daylight assessment criteria and a significant weighting is also applied for this category. MBS provide software which runs inside AutoCad to practitioners wishing to keep control of this process themselves. Bespoke training for individuals or groups is included. Alternatively MBS can undertake the analysis and deliver the results on a fixed fee basis. Whichever method suits you there is no longer an excuse for not obtaining the CSH credits that your scheme deserves. - Daylight / Sunlight - Average Daylight Factor - Daylight Distribution.
