David Ross - Erosion Paving

For further information please click here

Concrete, for all its robust aesthetic, continues to be one of the best-loved materials
for both architects and clients. Erosion Paving is a flooring that personifies ‘beauty in
the beast’ – metals such as copper have been added to the aggregate as intricate
inlays which reveal themselves gradually as the concrete wears out. The brightness of
the metal provides a warm contrast to the concrete. These industrial contour lines give
concrete ‘a chance to grow old gracefully’
The tiles are made of concrete and copper or other metals. Limited number order size; tile size 35 x 35 x 2.5cm. It is available in dark or pale grey concrete, though bespoke colours are possible.
