    Congratulations to Stephen Hodder for getting this far. Hopefully he will be able to complete the exercise, including implementation, during his term as president. The proposals have the potential to (1) raise the status of an architecture degree beyond being purely vocational and graduates being seen by many as having failed if they do go into practice and (2) encourage a wider range of people into the profession and wider industry.     We need to take this thinking a step further and have an inclusive debate about the future of built environment education. The approach needs to be holistic and take account of all disciplines much like the approach noted in the blog below. http://2012bee.blogspot.co.uk/
