RIBA Stirling Prize judges unveiled

Designer Thomas Heatherwick (pictured) is among the judges for this year’s RIBA Stirling Prize

The designer, who opened his creative units devlopment at Aberystwyth Arts Centre today, is joined by Edward Jones of architects Dixon Jones, AJ columist and architect Sam Jacob from London-based practice FAT and the outgoing chair of CABE John Sorrell.

Jacob will be reporting exclusively for the AJ on the judging process later this year.

It is understood the RIBA’s president-elect Ruth Reed will also be on the jury for the UK’s top architecture award in association with the AJ and Crystal Digital Technology.
