PTEa becomes Women in Architecture practice partner

Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects has become one of the first practices to sign up to AJ’s new Women in Architecture Partnership programme.

The Islington-based practice said that it was delighted to play a more active role in the AJ campaign to promote the work of women in the industry.

Teresa Borsuk, executive director, Pollard Thomas Edwards said: “We are delighted to partner the AJ in this initiative. Our experience as a successful business demonstrates the benefits for everyone of there being a more gender-balanced work environment; balance begets balance.”

AJ Editor Christine Murray added: “As one of the few practices to have achieved a near equal number of men and women employees, PTEa is already one of the UK construction industry’s most exemplary employers.

“Now by lending support to our campaign the practice has marked itself out as an enlightened industry leader.“

Practices that sign up as supporters of the campaign will enjoy benefits including a table for 10 at the inspiring awards luncheon at the Langham Hotel, early booking to all AJ Women in Architecture seminars and talks, access to the AJ’s future mentorship programme, your practice listed on all AJ Women in Architecture publicity material, and an AJ Women in Architecture ‘proud supporter’ logo for your website and email signature.
