People's History Museum springs a leak

Just days before its reopening last month, the People’s History Museum in Manchester suffered a minor blip – a small leak

According to Austin-Smith:Lord, architect behind the museum’s £13 million revamp, the problem was quickly resolved by the builders.

Fortunately, the exhibits closest to the drip, some puppets from satirical 1980s/90s TV show Spitting Image, were hardly affected. They’d been exposed to far worse working alongside the spittle-lobbing latex manifestation of Roy Hattersley.
