Most practices comprise of just men with the odd woman. From my graduate class I know 1 woman that has a job but plenty of men. I don't know how it is still allowed to happen.

I don't think I would study architecture under the new fees. With the new fees, they need to condense the course to make it more reasonable. Universities need to condense all 3 year courses into 2 years. The time off over the summer is ridiculous. Plus tuition is not free for English students in Scotland! It's free for other EU students, Scottish students, and cheaper for the Welsh (paid by Wales). So the drop in fees is due to less English students and probably Welsh too.
