It seems the AJ’s old nemesis Peter Phillips is up to his old tricks again. After a few months keeping his head down following the furore over his membership of the BNP, the Surrey architect has been speaking up on RIBA Net, the online chatroom for RIBA members ( ). In a lengthy rant, Phillips cites his support for George Ferguson, Chris Roche and Ian Meek in various RIBA elections as evidence of the fact he’s not a fascist. They must be horrified with this kind of association. Also, the former presidential candidate is sticking with his policy of referring to the news editor of this esteemed organ as ‘Ed Doorbell’. How grown up. Just imagine the wonders he could have performed at Portland Place…
