Totally agree with John above, this is a very biased view and one I expect (hope?!) more reflective of London and the AJ editorial rather than national Architect’s opinion?

Claire, I think the £9 mill fee was calculated on the original aquatics centre build which was estimated at circa £100- now a 9 - 10% fee is certainly newsworthy! Otherwise, I generally agree with you- this mostly seems like a reasonable fees for substantial architectural / consultancy services- the article should be more complimentary. N
