Zaha wins Spanish comp - image

Zaha Hadid has won yet another competition, this time for a scheme in Spain.

The London-based Iraqi architect yesterday evening landed a project that will see her design a new general library and investigative resource centre in Seville, Spain.

The London office saw off competition from a series of Spanish practices whose names are currently unknown.

Further details of the project remain sketchy at present.
