Zaha to get inside Nouvel scheme - images

Zaha Hadid has been commissioned to design this vast 'architectural experiment' to sit within the bowels of Jean Nouvel's Cartier Foundation building in Paris.

The 35m 2project, an 'explosion', will take up the entire ground floor of the Nouvel's exhibition building.

The London-based Iraqi architect was commissioned to design a sculpture that would interact with Nouvel's designs, which are described as a glass box.

According to the brief, Zaha's scheme will 'fly, float and thrust' and create a 'dynamic platform and crystalline cluster'.
