Zaha makes Woman’s Hour power list

Zaha Hadid has been named in a list compiled by BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour as one of the most powerful women in the UK

Hadid is the only architect to make the 100 strong list which charts women who have the ‘greatest influence and ability to change the way we live our lives in the UK today’.

The list was compiled by judges from suggestions of listeners to the BBC 4 programme alongside recommendations from expert witnesses.

Other figures to have made the list which is topped by the Queen, include artist Tracey Emin, Tanni Grey-Thomson and chief executive of the Crown Estate, Alison Nimmo.
