Studio Weave reveals colourful rooftop for London College of Fashion

  • Comment

Studio Weave has completed a multi-coloured rooftop garden for the London College of Fashion

Located on the roof of the London College of Fashion’s Oxford Street building, Studio Weave’s new space, which was originally conceived as a place for students to relax, will hold events for the London Festival of Architecture.

The architect’s view

‘The roof garden combines the characteristics that make the space unique - its concrete frame - with colours and shapes seen in the skyline.

‘These colours are reflected in the decking laid in a herringbone pattern, a nod to the London College of Fashion’s roots. The mixture of planters, seats and tables will enable learning in small groups as well as the Fashion Space Gallery’s events programme.’
