Stars line up behind ARB Reform Group

An astonishing list that includes some of the biggest names in British architecture is lining up in support of the ARB Reform Group.

The likes of Terry Farrell and Bob Allies have thrown their weight behind the group bidding to win all seven seats on the organisation's board reserved for members of the profession.

They have been joined by such luminaries as Amanda Levete, of Future Systems, Piers Gough, of CZWG, and Peter Ahrends, of ABK.

The list of names, which is growing all the time, aims to add credence to the ARB's eight candidates.

The radical group, which includes Alfred Munkenbeck as a reserve, is campaigning to pare back the work of the board, including reining in its work in architectural education and PI Insurance.

If they do win all seven seats, it will almost certainly mean, at the very least, a complete overhaul of the board's policies.
