Squire and Partners gets go-ahead for Mayfair scheme

Squire and Partners has won planning permission for British Land’s £318million Clarges Estate development in Mayfair

Situated next to upmarket department store Fortnum & Mason and overlooking Green Park, the 18,000m² scheme will replace an existing 1960s office block.

The prestigious project includes a 10-storey residential block with 47 apartments and a separate office building with 4,300m² of space. A block of affordable housing on Clarges Street and a proposal for a new home for the uprooted Kennel Club are also included in the plans.

The project will also create a new mews street between the residential and office buildings.
