Southwark exhibits Elephant and Castle plans

Southwark council has today (Wednesday 9 March) released new images of the Elephant and Castle development framework at MIPIM - the international property and regeneration convention currently taking place in Cannes, France.

Designed by Make Architects and visualised by Metaphorm, the images show the scale of the council's regeneration plans.

Chris Horn, Elephant and Castle development director at Southwark council, said: 'These images convey the scale and vision of our plans and give the market a flavour of the transformation that is about to get under way.'

The council began its search for a commercial development partner three weeks ago.
