Six-day Kevin McCloud house-building marathon is under way

Construction has started of the house designed by BBM Sustainable Design for Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud to build himself.

Using Modcell construction, a system for building walls with straw bales developed by architect White Design, the house is intended to be both eco-friendly and easy to build.

Channel Four is broadcasting progress reports every evening at 9pm, and you can also follow progress on the project website.
